The Bachelor's Degree in Biology at the University of Barcelona provides comprehensive training in the structure and functional dynamics of living organisms, with the aim of understanding the general laws of organic life. The program features a strong foundation in core biological sciences and offers two specializations: Biodiversity and Molecular, Cell and System Biology. It includes both theoretical coursework and practical experience through placements, research projects, and optional Erasmus exchanges. Instruction is primarily in Catalan, with some courses in Spanish and a limited selection in English (Catalan: 77.3%, Spanish: 19.9%, English: 2.7%).
