The Bachelor's Degree in Physics at the University of Barcelona is a four-year program (240 ECTS) delivered primarily in Catalan (70.3%), with courses also in Spanish (22.1%) and English (7.5%). The program equips students with theoretical foundations and practical applications in understanding and analyzing physical phenomena, offering both compulsory and elective course pathways (including specialization options) and culminating in a final project. It is designed for students with strong interests in mathematics and natural sciences and prepares graduates for a broad range of careers in research, teaching, industry, and further studies. The Faculty of Physics and the Institute of Cosmos Sciences (ICCUB) actively participate in pioneering research and international collaborations, including experimental particle physics (e.g., LHCb at CERN).
