The Bachelor's Degree in Law at the University of Barcelona (UB), Faculty of Law, delivers a comprehensive foundation in Spanish law with a strong contextual understanding of social, human, economic, and political aspects. Instruction covers all major legal branches, the evolution and diversity of legal systems, justice theory, the application and prioritization of legal norms, international and European legal frameworks, and the development of critical, analytical, and communicative legal skills in Catalan, Spanish, and English. Coursework enables students to interpret laws, solve legal conflicts, and pursue advanced legal practice or further legal research. The program is face-to-face, taught mainly in Spanish (57.9%) and Catalan (38.7%), with some English (3.5%).
