The Bachelor of Science in Educational Policy Studies at University of Wisconsin–Madison addresses urgent domestic and global education policy questions. Students critically engage in debates and dissect connections between education, inequality, and social justice. Coursework covers policy intersections with housing, healthcare, migration, political reform, and economic development; contemporary issues span early childhood, K-12, higher education, and workforce topics. Majors participate in community-based learning, internships, research, and study abroad, building qualitative, quantitative, historical, and philosophical research competencies. Graduates are prepared for careers in government agencies, NGOs, policy institutes, community organizations, or further graduate/professional study.
