The LL.M. - Advocacy and Litigation at Penn State Dickinson Law is a specialized track of the LL.M. program designed for domestic and internationally trained lawyers seeking advanced knowledge in U.S. advocacy and courtroom procedures. The program requires at least 24 credits and allows for concentration in Advocacy and Litigation by selecting relevant courses such as trial advocacy, civil procedure, and dispute resolution. The curriculum also includes core subjects (LL.M. Legal Research, Legal Writing, Introduction to U.S. Legal System) and elective courses tailored to student interests. The program is offered primarily at the University Park location and is taught alongside J.D. students, providing experiential learning and networking opportunities with leading litigators and advocates. Graduates are prepared for roles in litigation, courtroom representation, and dispute resolution.
