Penn State Dickinson Law’s LL.M. program is a flexible, rigorous graduate degree designed to provide students—especially international lawyers—with a comprehensive understanding of the American legal system and specialized expertise in areas such as Labor and Employment Law. The program requires a minimum of 24 credits and allows students to tailor coursework by choosing electives and concentrations, including Labor and Employment Law, from an expansive curriculum. LL.M. students learn alongside J.D. students and can extend studies to a third semester for experiential opportunities or bar exam preparation. All students must complete core courses in U.S. legal research, writing, and system introduction, and select additional courses from foundational American law subjects. The program is offered at both Carlisle and University Park campuses, providing access to career development and faculty mentorship.
