The LL.M. at Penn State Dickinson Law is a flexible graduate law program designed for domestic and international legal professionals seeking advanced expertise in the U.S. legal system, with available concentrations such as National Security, Military, and Veterans Law. Students pursue a generalized LL.M. curriculum with the option to specialize by completing at least 9 credits in required and elective courses related to National Security, Military, and Veterans Law (each course must earn a minimum grade of 'C' to count). The program allows substantial flexibility, experiential learning, and close faculty mentorship. All coursework required for the New York bar exam is available, and students may engage in joint degrees or externships with approval. Both Carlisle and University Park locations are available, offering access to clinical and cross-disciplinary opportunities. Career guidance, merit-based scholarships (average 60% of tuition), and access to bar eligibility support are additional features.
