The Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies at The Pennsylvania State University’s College of the Liberal Arts provides an interdisciplinary education focused on the history, culture, societies, and languages of Asia. Students learn to compare subregions of Asia, develop analytical and thesis skills, and gain proficiency in a world language. The curriculum includes at least 31 credits specifically in Asian Studies, in addition to broad general education and Bachelor of Arts requirements. This program prepares graduates for careers related to international affairs, academia, language, and cross-cultural work.
