The Master of Food and Nutrition program at Seoul National University's College of Human Ecology is designed for graduates who wish to specialize in food science, nutrition, or food service. The curriculum covers analytical, chemical, physicochemical, microbiological, and toxicological aspects of food, as well as basic and applied nutrition to improve human health. Research areas also reflect pressing public health issues including diabetes, cancer, osteoporosis, and obesity. Graduates are equipped to pursue careers in food product development, nutritional assessment, health policy, and food service management, or to continue into research and academic positions. Courses may include Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Human Physiology, Food Chemistry, Basic and Advanced Nutrition, Diet Therapy, Molecular Nutrition, Food Service Management, and more.
