The LL.M. in Health Law, Policy and Ethics at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law develops advanced expertise in the legal frameworks governing healthcare systems, patients' rights, ethics, regulation of professionals, and health policy. The curriculum includes compulsory courses in legal research methodology, contemporary issues, and critical approaches in health law, policy and ethics, plus options in human rights, international law, technopolicy, and intellectual property law. Students complete a major research paper or thesis.
