The Bachelor of Arts and Sciences (B.A.S.) at the University of Guelph is an interdisciplinary honours program allowing students to pursue studies in both arts/social sciences and the sciences. The degree is structured so that students complete two distinct minors—one from each area—supplemented by an interdisciplinary core curriculum (ASCI courses). This program emphasizes both disciplinary depth and interdisciplinary breadth, preparing students for a variety of career paths where social and scientific perspectives intersect. The flexibility and broad training make graduates suitable for diverse sectors, such as science communication, policy analysis, medical or law school preparation, and more.
