The Department of Artificial Intelligence Systems at the School of Computing, College of Computing, Yonsei University launches its first class in 2025. This newly established department is designed to educate students in integrated artificial intelligence systems, covering both advanced AI models (including generative AI and large language models) and the computing systems that support them. The curriculum encompasses deep learning, machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, as well as infrastructure topics such as high-performance computing, cloud computing, distributed learning systems, system software, and AI semiconductors. The program emphasizes strong practical education to produce professionals adept at combining AI and system technologies for next-generation industries. Students have access to cutting-edge facilities including an AI data center equipped with high-performance GPUs, and benefit from Yonsei's interdisciplinary collaboration and industry research networks.
