The BSc Computational Finance and Financial Technology program at the City University of Hong Kong offers two interdisciplinary streams: (1) Computational Finance and (2) Financial Technology. The Computational Finance stream integrates finance, mathematics, statistics, and computer programming to provide students with state-of-the-art skillsets aimed at financial markets. The Financial Technology stream focuses on business, information technology, and innovation, covering core areas such as blockchain, big data, cybersecurity, regulatory technology (RegTech), Python programming, machine learning, technology entrepreneurship, and a FinTech capstone project. Both streams emphasize quantitative analysis, financial theory, and computational methods. The program also offers an opportunity to join a Joint Bachelor’s Degree Program with Columbia University, awarding dual degrees upon completion.
