The MCM program at the School of Chinese Medicine, Hong Kong Baptist University, aims to cultivate and enhance practitioners’ competence in applying Chinese medicine theories and methods both in clinical practice and research settings. The program features coordinated teaching in areas such as Internal Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, and Orthopaedics/Traumatology/Tui Na. It requires 32 units for graduation (11 common courses and 21 concentration courses). Students may specialize in one of three concentrations, strengthening their diagnostic and treatment abilities for quality practice and research in medical and healthcare development. Courses are updated regularly to keep up with advances in the field, and the program trains graduates for roles in practice, research, and the advancement of Chinese medicine.
