The MSc in Marketing for the Creative Economy is an interdisciplinary full-time programme offered by the Department of Management, Marketing, and Information Systems in collaboration with the Academy of Visual Arts, both under the School of Business and the School of Creative Arts at Hong Kong Baptist University. The programme combines art and marketing, addressing the growing demand in the creative economy—covering industries such as advertising, design, music, film, and interactive media. Students will be equipped with practical business and marketing knowledge, creative problem-solving skills, and global perspectives via a contemporary curriculum. Key components include 18 units of core taught courses (with a Creative Service-Learning Project), 9 units of elective courses, and a required overseas field trip, which is subsidized. The curriculum prepares graduates to be leaders capable of managing and promoting creative industries at both the regional and international level.
