The Master of Urban Design (MUD) at the University of Toronto's John H. Daniels Faculty is a two-year, post-professional program designed for those with accredited professional degrees in architecture, landscape architecture, or a related field with substantial design experience. The program prepares graduates to address social and ecological challenges in urban environments by integrating speculative design thinking with policy, infrastructure, and the broader urban context. Emphasizing equity and global perspectives, the curriculum links urban design, planning, and environmental sciences, training students to reimagine city-building through design-led research and practice.
