Princeton University's Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical and Computer Engineering) is a four-year ABET-accredited program focused on providing rigorous training in both engineering fundamentals and modern applications. Students start with foundational courses in information, circuits, devices, and digital logic, and progress towards core preparatory and design courses. The curriculum is highly flexible, allowing students to choose electives and concentrations in areas such as data and information, security, computer systems, energy, quantum computing, and applied physics. Independent research and a senior thesis are integral parts of the program, and students are encouraged to tailor their studies through interdisciplinary certificates (minors), internships, and study abroad opportunities. The department nurtures critical technical and analytical skills needed to lead and innovate in sectors ranging from technology to finance, health, and public service.
