The Bachelor of Science in Global Health at the School of Public Health, University of Maryland College Park, is a rigorous and multidisciplinary undergraduate program introduced in Fall 2024. The curriculum is designed to equip students with scholarly and applied skills needed to address global health challenges. Students gain competencies in epidemiology, policy, management, data analysis, world languages, and digital health. Through research, internships, and experiential learning, graduates are prepared for diverse career paths—including policy analyst, global health consultant, research assistant, health educator, and more—in settings ranging from biomedical to public policy and nonprofit sectors.
