NYU School of Global Public Health’s MPH in Community Health Science and Practice prepares students to collaboratively develop, implement, and evaluate programs and policies that promote healthy communities and health equity. The concentration trains students to assess health issues among diverse populations in the U.S. and globally, apply a social ecological framework to identify and evaluate population-based interventions, and engage community stakeholders to adapt and implement evidence-based strategies that reduce inequities. The concentration is offered in-person and online as part of NYU’s nine MPH concentrations. The MPH degree at NYU generally requires 46 credits and includes core courses, concentration courses/electives, and a culminating applied practice/integrative learning experience.
