NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing’s dual-degree BS/MS program enables students to earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing and then advance to a master’s degree preparing them for advanced practice roles such as nurse practitioners, nurse-midwives, informaticists, or clinical research nurses. Dual-degree (BS/MS) students are eligible for certain global education opportunities, including taking the 3-credit core graduate course Nursing Issues and Trends in Health Care Delivery abroad as part of required core coursework that counts toward the degree. The BS component can be pursued via the traditional four-year pathway or the accelerated 15‑month pathway before application/transition to the MS, consistent with NYU Meyers undergraduate structures.
