NYU College of Arts & Science (CAS) and NYU Tandon School of Engineering offer a five-year dual-degree pathway in which qualified, technically oriented students complete a liberal arts science major (Physics) at CAS together with a traditional engineering curriculum (Civil Engineering) at Tandon, earning two Bachelor of Science degrees upon completion. Students must begin the prescribed dual-degree coursework in the first year. Participants complete CAS College Core Curriculum requirements except the foreign language requirement (exempted due to the program’s math/science load).
