An interdisciplinary BA jointly offered by the Department of Computer Science and the Center for Data Science. The major builds a strong foundation in data science while requiring additional work in algorithms, computer systems, and other advanced 400-level CS electives relevant to data science, machine learning, and AI. A grade of C or better is required in all courses used for the major; Pass/Fail does not count. Students must follow CS course sequencing and placement/AP policies outlined by CAS/CS, and CAS students may not take CS courses at Tandon for this major.
