NYU College of Arts & Science’s Department of Music offers a BA that builds proficiency in music theory, history, and interpretation across global traditions while developing applied critical and listening skills. The curriculum spans ethnomusicology, popular music, cultural study of music, and sound studies, with access to Waverly Labs’ digital resources for composition and research. Students may take private instrumental instruction with department support and join performance ensembles at Steinhardt. The major supports independent research opportunities in the senior year and offers an Honors Program culminating in a faculty-supervised capstone project. 来源： https://steinhardt.nyu.edu/departments/music-and-performing-arts-professions
