NYU College of Arts & Science’s Department of English offers a BA in English and American Literature with two tracks: a Literature track and a Creative Writing track. The major trains students in close reading, critical thinking, and analytical writing across a variety of historical periods and topics (e.g., literary history, critical theory, literary culture).
