NYU Abu Dhabi’s Civil Engineering major prepares students to apply mathematics (through differential equations), calculus-based physics, and chemistry; gain knowledge in four core technical areas of civil engineering—transportation, structures, environment, and project management; conduct experiments and analyze/interpret data; design systems, components, or processes across multiple civil contexts; understand management, business, public policy, leadership; and recognize the importance of professional licensure. The program is accredited by ABET’s Engineering Accreditation Commission and by the UAE Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), and confers a Bachelor of Science degree.
