NYU Tisch’s IMA is an interdisciplinary undergraduate BFA that treats computation—the ability to code, learn software, manipulate data, and create physical + digital interactions—as an essential creative capability for inventing the future. Students gain fluency in digital interactivity while completing a liberal arts education, learning to connect digital tools with physical objects/environments, human interaction, and technology’s impact on society.
