The Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at the College of Arts and Sciences, The Ohio State University, offers students rigorous analytical and logical training across six concentration tracks: Theoretical Math, Applied Math (Physics, Chemistry), Mathematical Biology, Math for Educators, Financial Math, and Honors Math. The program trains students in real and complex analysis, number theory, abstract algebra, logic, and more. Flexibility in curriculum allows students to double major or minor in fields such as statistics, engineering, or computational sciences. Graduates are prepared for diverse careers in computer programming, actuarial science, operations research, quantitative finance, education, and public administration, or further study in professional and graduate schools.
