The MA is a studies-based, and the MFA is a practice-based, graduate program in Interdisciplinary Media & Artistic Research designed for students wishing to combine knowledge and methodologies from at least two distinct disciplines, one of which must be from Media, Art, and Performance. Both programs emphasize a flexible, cross-disciplinary approach, supporting innovative research and creative projects that bridge traditional academic and artistic boundaries. The programs are embedded in the cultural and creative ecology of Regina, offering opportunities for professional development such as a unique 6-month work placement. The MA requires a thesis, while the MFA requires a studio project and critical statement. The programs foster interdisciplinary scholarship linked to the university and local arts communities.
